In the recently, many companies with loyalty program
association with social responsibility, is to let their loyalty customer donate
their earning points to charities or a community groups. These actions further improve the level of
the customer loyalty programs. It is not only making their programs attractive customers
but also building the brand image.
With the Canadian Tire 'Money'
Advantage program, Canadian Tire upgraded rewarding programs. If
you make a purchase using Canadian tire program credit cards at Canadian Tire
stores and they will donate $2 or if you donate $1 at Canadian Tire stores, then Canadian Tire will make it $3 to support the Canadian tire Jumpstart
(Canadian tire Jumpstart gives kids a sporting chance) . The customers also have an option to donate
Canadian Tire points towards charity or special cause in community.
Another large loyalty program is Aeroplan who use your miles to make a difference. Aeroplan set up a special Aeroplan Miles account for making charity. As of today there are 383,644,079 miles donated. Also basing on the CTV news reports on Apr,2014 that Air Canada have donated 500,000 Aeroplan points to the Chai Lifeline Canada charity.
Overall, if you want to make
the certain value for your earning points, go to the loyalty programs of
charities and donate your points so that help more and more people.
